Vocal training - integrating intention, breath, imagination and Movement
' Your approach is gentle and confident and confidence-inspiring and incredibly knowledgeable.
I have learned that there is a lot more to singing than I first thought, but it is possible to improve quickly and that I actually have a nice singing voice!
Individual lessons and small group classes
Ria offers a unique approach for beginners to experienced singers, seeking to explore the full potential of their voice. She currently offers individual lessons from her teaching studio in Preston.
' Over the years of teaching voice and Alexander Technique, I have found that a combination of both individual and small group learning provides an ideal environment for exploring the full potential of our own speaking/singing voice. I find that the Alexander Technique is extraordinarily useful as a way to refine our kinaesthetic intelligence as we move/sound/ think. I am particularly passionate about teaching in a way that meets each individuals needs and interests. Teaching in this exciting field requires me to be highly flexible and creative, as each person I work with brings their own blend of interests, learning style and resources, and a precious and unique voice. I like to leave space around the structures I offer, for individual curiosities to unfold.'
